Activate SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) to play Farming Simulator 25 on Xbox console

This article explains the process to follow to have your SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) activated in the game Farming Simulator 25 on an Xbox Series X|S™ console.
The process below is necessary when using the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) for the first time on Xbox console, but it can also be useful to ensure it works with the game.

Important:
On Xbox consoles SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) is only compatible with Farming Simulator 25 (at the time of publishing this article). All current compatibilities of the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) on Xbox consoles are listed on our website in Game settings.


I- Connect the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox)

1.1- Turn off the Xbox console

1.2- Unplug all devices from the console (including farmstick, gamepad or steering wheel)

1.3- Turn on again the Xbox console by using the power button on the console

1.4- Make sure the sliding switch on the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) is in Xbox position



1.5- Connect only the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) to the UBS port on the Xbox console

1.6- Press the Xbox button  on the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox)

The Xbox LED lights up white and the grip LED (orange highlighted below) flashes white or orange.



Important:
If the grip LED flashes white, it means the FarmStick is in left-handed mode and it will not be recognized by the game.

To switch the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox) to right-handed mode:
- Disconnect the FarmStick from the Xbox console
- Press and hold "Next" button (orange highlighted below)



- Connect the FarmStick to the USB port on the Xbox console while holding "Next" button
- Wait 3 seconds and release "Next" button

Press the Xbox button. The grip LED must flash orange 


II- Select the game with the SimTask FarmStick (Xbox)

2.1 Press the Xbox button  on the FarmStick to open the Xbox menu

2.2 Use the directional buttons on the FarmStick to select Farming Simulator 25 and start the game



Press A to validate

2.3 Select again the game with the FarmStick

Once the game has started:
1. Press the “Xbox” button to access the Xbox menu.
2. Use the directional pad to select “Farming Simulator 25”.
3. Press the “A” button from the FarmStick to confirm.



2.4 Now that the FarmStick is activated, connect your steering wheel and press its Xbox button to activate it
